Visiting || Cameron and Quits
Cam could tell she was out of her element and not feeling very comfortable. For once he was the confident one and she the shy blushing one. It was actually adorable. When her cheeks turned a light shade of pink and she sat on hos bed, he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to his left side - since his right side still ached a bit. He had never heard Quitty ramble or get tongue tied, but he liked it. It was cute. Taking the teddy bear from her, he smiled down at her, placing a finger on her lips to gently quiet her. “I love the bear, thank you.” he whispered to her reassuringly with a smile that touched his eyes. The tall boy knew she wasn’t one for being sentimental, so he didn’t stay on the topic long. But it touched him to see that she clearly cared for him and was worried. And actions spoke louder than words and her actions spoke volumes to him. If his bottom lip wasn’t swollen he would’ve leaned in to kiss her, but instead he asked; “would you like to share some?” he offered, changing the subject so she wouldn’t get uncomfortable.
Falling silent as he pressed his finger to her lips, Quitty smile softly, looking down before clearing her throat and nodding. “Sure. I knew you had a split lip and it’s probably not easy to eat so I got them to make them small.” Opening the container she motioned to the numerous and well assorted bite sized sushi’s that filled it. “Take your pick.” Pulling two sets of chop sticks from the bag she broke one set apart and handed it to him before breaking her own apart to take one of the pieces with them. He looked bad, though, and she hated seeing him like that. Hated it more than anything. It just made her madder at Jack and more determined than every to exact her revenge on him. “So…Does it hurt?” She asked, motioning to his arm in the sling.
